The Transitional Living Facility is designed with the understanding that not all people are ready to jump into independent living after completing treatment or leaving incarceration. Groups to help you become the best version of yourself are part of our program and include parenting from the inside out, recovery drug addiction maintenance, financial literacy, healthy relationships and nutrition. The Salvation Army has been supporting individuals with substance use disorders and mental health conditions for decades. This recovery program includes individual counseling, psychoeducation, case management, group therapy, spiritual direction, Christian worship, skill development, work readiness and job support, and ongoing support referrals.

The National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) was founded in 2011 to fill a void in the field of addiction recovery services. Until then, there were no widely recognized best practices or quality oversight in the operation of recovery housing, which has been in existence since the mid-nineteenth century. Using input from 48 thought leaders across 12 states, NARR created a uniform language and standards for a wide range of peer-based housing and recovery residences that promote addiction recovery. Moongate Sober Living is committed to providing individuals with access to an affordable, supportive, and safe sober living environment as they embark on their recovery journey. We believe that our positive and structured residence will empower our guests to navigate the challenges of daily life and achieve their long-term recovery goals. Great Lakes Recovery Mission offers an individualized and family type experience for each client. Clients are responsible for following program rules, including curfews, attendance at community support meetings, outpatient services as deemed necessary by the outpatient providers, and random urinary analysis.
